Animated Short Film Peter & the Wolf. Produced by Hugh Welchman of
Breakthru Films and directed by award-winning animator Suzie Templeton,
this modern day Peter & the Wolf reworks Prokofiev's popular classic
tale, giving it some 21st century twists and an environmental theme,
while staying true to the original story. Using stop-frame model
animation, the story is set to a special new recording by the
Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Mark Stephenson performing
Prokofiev's original score. The film won the Oscar for Best Animated
Short.
